How many times you paid a lot of money for some skin product and you haven’t been satisfied with results? Or even worst, the product damaged your skin or hair? Happened to me – to buy a product praised a lot and end up regretting all the money I gave. That is why
I try to organize homemade spa for my hair, face, nails… at least once in a week. We need to pamper ourselves, girls, ‘coz’ none will! I know what is your excuse… you do not have time to blend everything by yourself. Trust me, it does not take more than half an hour for your face treatment, because all the ingredients you have already in your fridge.
Face masks for oily and mixed skin
A) 1 boiled potato,
a juice from 1 cucumber,
20 g milk powder.
Mix boiled potato with 1/2 tomato, cucumber and powdered milk and then let the mixture stay in the fridge for 10-15 min. Wash your face and apply the paste on your face. Keep it for 30 minutes, then remove with lukewarm water. For better results, tap a face with a lotion for oily skin, which will close your pores. This mask reduces oil on your skin if you use it regularly, at least once a week.
B) 2 lemons,
100 g strawberries,
Squeeze the lemons in a bowl, then add fresh strawberries and milk powder. If you do not have powdered milk use corn starch. Apply the mask on clean face and keep it for 30 minutes. This face mask is great because removes clogged pores and mattify your skin. Use it once in a week.
C) 100 g pumpkin,
one sour apple,
50 g celery,
50 g of sour cream or
Blend pumpkin, celery and apples together and place in a clean bowl. Add the cream or yoghurt and you got the face mask for tired and oily skin. Clean your face as usual then apply the mixture. You can put a cheesecloth above the mixture to prevent slipping down the face. Keep the mask on your face for 30 minutes and then wash your face. Use a face lotion after that for better results.

Face masks for dry skin
A) 1 banana,
1 tbsp yeast,
1 tbsp honey,
Mix banana in a wooden bowl with a wooden spoon and add honey, yeast and powdered milk.
All ingredients above are good for all skin types, not only dry because it will regenerate and epithelize the skin. Apply the mask in bigger layer on your face after which you can put a clean napkin to prevent “destroying” your clothes. Make this paste and apply it at least twice in a month
B) 2-3 tbsp of almond oil,
1 boiled potato,
50 g sour cream or yogurt.
Mash the potato and mix with oil and sour cream (yoghurt). Apply the mask on washed skin and hold it for about 30 minutes. Wash your face, then apply the lotion. It’s enough to use this face mask once every 10 days. For those who have dry skin: remove the mask with warm unboiled milk, and then wash with a face cleanser for sensitive skin.
C) 2-3 tbsp honey,
1 tbsp of olive oil,
1 yolk and
30 g powdered milk.
Place the honey in a bigger bowl, and whisk it with oil, fresh yolk and then add milk powder. You will get a paste you can easily apply on your face. You need to put the mask on your face while you are lying with closed eyes. As usual, apply it on a clean face, hold it for half an hour, and then wash with lukewarm water. This mask is great for the skin that starts getting old and gets wrinkles. The mask affects the regeneration of the skin tissue, i.e. the epithelium of the skin is rejuvenated.
You skin is red and damaged?
If you have problems with redness caused by winter and wind, except serum, olive and almond oil can help you, which feed the skin and act contaminated.
Extracts of green tea, cucumber, ginger and vitamin C are also good remedies for skin inflammation, so creams with these ingredients will help. It is recommended avoiding cream with a fragrance, based on alcohol, menthol, eucalyptus or cloves because it irritates the skin, especially dry.
A good choice is face cream with turmeric because it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients that stimulate skin renewal. Curcuma can be used also as a facial mask, and it is enough to apply it once a week.
