- ✈️ Skyscanner – This is my go-to platform for comparing flight prices and finding the cheapest deals. It allows me to search “everywhere” from my desired airport and sometimes is one way I even decide where I am going. It is such a cool tool!
- ✈️ Google Flights – Perfect for monitoring airfare trends and receiving price alerts. If you’re unsure about booking a flight, Google Flights allows you to track specific routes and notifies you when prices drop or rise. From experience, many flights reach their lowest fares around 25-35 days before departure.
- 🚆 Omio – Here you can book train and bus tickets across Europe with ease. I love how easy it is to navigate through the website!
- 🚆 Trainline – Another way to compare and book train tickets across Europe easily. I love that the train tickets here are almost always cheaper than with Deutsche Bahn.
- 🚌 FlixBus – Although, I prefer flying over traveling with a bus, these affordable long-distance buses allow me to travel to many European destinations.
Accommodation
- 🏨 Booking.com – My go-to website for budget and luxury stays worldwide. As a Genius Member Level 3, I enjoy some really good discounts!
- 🏡 Airbnb – Perfect for finding unique accommodations and homestays. Although I was skeptical at the beginning about staying in someone’s private place, it can be such a cool and authentic way to experience some destination!
- 🏕️ Hostelworld – Best for backpackers and budget travelers.

- 🌍 GetYourGuide – Find and book tours, tickets, and local experiences in any destination. I love how they always come up with new tours and experiences so I get to enjoy new things first!
